"I love this wine. Its lifted fragrance of cardamom and Moroccan market spice, pink rose petal and a puckered texture beg a collection of foods and a group of friends.Picked by hand, fermented on skins for 86 days then pressed to old barrels. Bottled later without any fining or filtration. It is cloudy and offers a perfect journey from our place to your glass. With Love and Gratitude. Libiamo! Let’s drink!" James Millton

The 2016 vintage is the fourth release of what we think is the finest skin-fermented wine made in New Zealand today. The first vintage took our breath away and over the last few vintages, the wine has become more refined, expressive and elegant while also pushing the boundaries of expression. James Millton, spurred on by his children (now both wine professionals) Sam and Monique have created this wine which epitomizes the idea of "nothing added, nothing taken away." I'm staring into a glass as I write this and even without tasting the wine provides interest in every sniff I take.
