2014 Moss Wood Chardonnay
Established in 1969 Moss Wood has long been a darling of the Margaret River, competing for status with Cullen and Leeuwin. The Cabernet is undoubtedly the star however I’ve always had a lot of time for the Chardonnay. If you like old-skool chardy - luscious and creamy with masses of toasty oak and concentration then this is definitely the wine for you. James Suckling says of the wine: “Full and flavourful. So much here. Drink now.” Drink now yes, but this is a wine that is also seriously ageable.
