2017 Sam Millton ‘Samphora’ Riesling MAGNUM
This is the second vintage of this fantastic wine made by the second generation Millton winemaker Sam, the wine comes from the Opou vineyard which is both BioGro and Demeter certified biodynamic. Hand harvested by Sam it was kept as whole bunches and fermented on skins in a small, beeswax lined amphora where it rested for 150 days. It was pressed and settled before being bottled unfiltered and unfined with minimal added S02. Ther wine is bottled under magnum and are hand painted. Just 70 magnums were produced.
